Site work for a civil project in San Jose, California. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of February 6, 2025 All bid were rejected on the project . No definite date for the rebid.** The Work will consist of steam and condensate systems repairs including demolition and removal of existing steam system components, installing/replacing piping, pumps, and other components, and assisting with startup of steam systems. The term contract or agreement shall only be used for repair work and replacement of currently existing structures with County approved equivalents. The term contract shall be on an "as needed" basis at various County owned/leased facilities throughout the County of Santa Clara as described herein for a period of one (1) year, with County option to extend for one additional year, unless terminated or otherwise amended. Total contract sum shall not exceed two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000). Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid price, including all additive bid items. The check or bond must be made payable to "The County of Santa Clara." BID BOND: The original bid bond shall be mailed/delivered and addressed to: County of Santa Clara - Procurement Department Attn.: MINOR PUBLIC WORKS program; Taylor Tran, Procurement Officer 130 W. Tasman Drive, First Floor; San Jose, CA 95134 CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING REQUIREMENT The Contractor must possess a C-20 Warm-Air, Heating, Ventilating, and Air license and a C-36 Plumbing license Contractor's License issued by the Contractor's State License Board at the time the bid is submitted, per Business and Professions Code section 7028.15.
