Requests for explanations or clarifications must be submitted on or before the deadline for questions. Requests for clarification received after this deadline may not be considered and the University is under no obligation to address them. The University may cancel this solicitation at any time before or after receipt of Proposals. Anticipated Contract Start Date December 2024 1. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion. a. Substantial Completion shall be: May 15, 2025 and July 7, 2025 b. Final Completion shall be: July 25, 2025 c. Final Completion shall be when project site is de-mobilized and all project documents listed in Close-Out section of the specifications has been sent to the Owner. Liquidated Damages 1. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Description a. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2,500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
