The district is soliciting bids for the care of lawn and landscaping needs at all building locations as stated in Schedule A to start on July 1, 2025 for the school district's fiscal year. A contract for one year will be awarded with automatic renewals occurring each July 1st for an additional year, unless written notice is given to the vendor by March 31st annually. The district reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, in whole or in part, at the sole discretion of the district, based on the best interest of the district. The district shall not be obligated to award a contract solely on the basis of any response made to this request to proposal. The district retains the right to qualify or disqualify vendors on suitability of the goods or services proposed. Alternate bids will be considered. Lawn/Landscaping services shall occur at times mutually agreed upon between the district and the vendor. Vendor shall be responsible for complying with all local ordinance regarding working times. Vendor assumes all liability for complying with local ordinances. Any changes to the established schedule must have prior approval of the district, and scheduled at the least disruptive times possible. Mowers are to be set to cut at a minimum of three (3) inches and grass shall never exceed a total height of five (5) inches between cuts. Mowing frequency shall be such that the grass cutting or clippings are not of sufficient quantity to detract from the overall site appearance. If the time between cuttings must be extended for any reason, thereby causing an excessive amount of clippings on the lawn, or if the clippings shall be eliminated by whatever means are available to the vendor at no expense to the District.
