Reference Number 0000374979 The City of Sturgis is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for the design of a site plan and Electric Utilities Building. The building would be a new structure, approximately 40,000 sq ft. designed for construction on future property to be owned by the City. The project is expected to include site plan and design of a utility building including offices, garage space, cold storage, equipment storage, and a potential generation facility made-up of reciprocating engines, potential rooftop solar and/or battery storage. The facility will house approximately 25 employees made up of 10 office employees, control room with multiple work stations, and an area for the remaining employees to meet for lunch and training needs.
