Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Sturgis, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Project as a whole includes the replacement of the Michigan Avenue Pump Station to a duplex submersible pump station, bypass connection, new control panel, instrumentation and telemetry (KISM), upgrade power from 240V to 480V, new generator receptacle and manual transfer switch and service drive. Demolition of existing pump station in its entirety. Reroute influent gravity sewer along Grand Avenue and connect to wet well. Replace water main on Grand Avenue. New water service and sewer lateral for 1003 Michigan Avenue, with connections to mains on Michigan Avenue, partial mill & fill and partial roadway reconstruction on Grand Avenue with some concrete curb and sidewalk replacement and all related work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond by a recognized surety in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Sturgis and F & V Construction reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Project.
