2024 Riverfront Trail Lighting Project This project will consist of the installation of trail lighting to include bases, conduit, wire, pull boxes, light poles, and luminaires. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within ten days after the awarding of the contract Pre- qualification documents shall be submitted to the Engineering Department no later than 2:00 p.m. on December 2, 2024, and show sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract in accordance with Section 66.0901, Wisconsin Statutes. The Board's decision as to qualifications shall be final. Pre-Qualification: Yes The City of Wausau reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award a contract in the best interest of the City of Wausau. A Performance Bond and also a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price, together with an executed contract in form prescribed by the City of Wausau will be required of the successful bidder. The letting of the work described herein is subject to provisions of Chapter 62 and 66 of Wisconsin Statutes and by all pertinent sections of the Wausau Municipal Code.
