Water Treatment Plant at the Park Avenue Well A. 2024-A General Construction B. 2024-B Electrical Construction Question Deadline 01/08/2025 Questions received later than three (3) working days prior to Bid Opening will not be answered. The Project Generally Consists of Construction of a New Nitrate Removal Water Treatment Facility, Including a New Water Storage Tank and Pressure Sustaining Pump System, as Well as Any/all Associated Water Piping, Treatment System Appurtenances and Site Restoration. The Project Will Include Two Contracts, One for General Construction and One for Electrical Construction. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Bid Total, Payable to the Owner, in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. his Project is Being Funded Through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (Pennvest), as Well as Through Grant Funding Received From the Small Water and Sewer Program, the Franklin County Impact! Grant Program, the Statewide Local Share Account (Lsa) Program, and the Community Project Funding Program. As Such, Inclusion of Applicable "Federal (Davis-bacon) Prevailing Wage Rates", and Compliance With Other Grant Regulations Will Be Strictly Required. The Mercersburg Water Authority Specifically Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities and to Accept Any Bid That It May Deem to Be in the Best Interest of the Authority. The Successful Bidder Will Be Notified, in Writing, Within 60 Days of the Bid Opening Date of the Acceptance of Any Bid Proposal by the Owner.
