The project generally consists of replacement of the existing UV disinfection system, reconfiguration of the UV equipment vault, improvements to the effluent discharge channel, as well as any/all associated piping, treatment system appurtenances and site restoration. The project will include two contracts, one for 2025-A General Construction and one for 2025-B Electrical Construction. Separate sealed Bids will be received for each contract. Bidders interested in both contracts must submit separate Bids with separate bid security. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10% of the Bid total, payable to the owner, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids may be taken under advisement and the award of contracts, if awarded, will be made within 60 days after the date of opening Bids, or otherwise provided by law. The Authority reserves the rights to formally award the contracts by public announcement at a subsequent meeting. Any Bidder and any member of the public may be present at the Bid opening. The Authority intends to award the contracts to the lowest responsible, responsive Bidders, as determined to be in the best interest of the Authority. The Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
