The Fort Valley Utility Commission will accept sealed bids for the construction and installation to install approximately 25,000 feet of 6" steel high pressure natural gas main from the end of the existing 6" high pressure tap line on Hwy 341 to the end of the existing 6" steel high pressure gas main on SR 96 at Pure Flavor. Also install approximately 5,000 feet of 6" steel from a point in the system on Hwy 49 where the 4" HP and 6" HP join in front of the New Faith Baptist Church to a point in front of the new Peach County High School. All potential bidders must hold a current Georgia Utility Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14. Contractor must be a qualified natural gas contractor under the laws of the State of Georgia and must comply with any Federal, State, and Municipal guidelines and regulations. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for review at the Fort Valley Utility Commission, Gas Department, during regular business hours. The successful Contractor will be determined in January 2025 and will be expected to start construction by February 2025. The Bid Name "Natural Gas System Improvement - SR 96 High Pressure Bid" shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. The Fort Valley Utility Commission reserves the right to accept none, all or any part of the bid and to waive informalities or technicalities or to re-advertise as appropriate
