Renovation of a laboratory facility in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility; and 25,394-square-foot, two-story above grade laboratory facility.
As of January 13, 2024, project is awarded to Turner Construction with the amount of $484,029.46. The work under this contract includes the modification and renovation of 1,882 square feet of the second floor of Myers Hall. The total square footage of the first floor is 12,697. The second floor square footage is also 12,697. The modifications include changing a classroomspace into a an office suite, adding and replacing the stove hoods in the consumer science lab, adding and modifying the cabinetwork in the consumer science lab and reconfiguring an existing toilet space into two toilets. There is no work on the first floor. The building was constructed in 1965. The Pre-commencement Phase Services to be performed under this Contract shall commence upon the Effective Date of the Contract and be completed within 70 days thereafter.
