The intent of this RFP is to have a consultant under contract to provide construction management and inspection services for the Richards Boulevard/ I-80 Interchange Improvements Project, CIP No. ET8730. Construction is anticipated to take 18- 24 months. The City of Davis is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services in a prompt, professional and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the standards of the profession. All work, unless otherwise specified, shall be provided on a time and materials basis, and completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer or Public Works Director within the time periods allocated, as mutually agreed to at the beginning of the assignment. Services will include; review of civil engineering plans; construction support and management; computer or manual drafting;, construction inspection, project management, and other tasks associated with the Richards Boulevard/ I-80 Interchange construction, as assigned and directed by the City Engineer or Public Works Director. The term of this agreement will expire three years from the signing of the document.
