Site work for a mixed-use development in Davis, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.

Hot Water Phase 2 The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: A General Engineering. Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. Each Bidder may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents and to pay prevailing wage at the location of the work. In addition, the University is committed to promoting and increasing participation of small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) relating to all goods and services covered under the awarded agreement, subject to any and all applicable obligations under state and federal law, and University policies. The awarded contractor shall make best efforts to provide qualified SBEs and DVBEs with the maximum opportunity to participate. Alternates include additional underground piping and surface improvements. The LTHW distribution consist of approximately 3 miles of direct buried piping servicing 20 buildings. Pipe sizes range from 3" to 24". Pipe material is HDPE Raised Temperature (PE-RT), with PEX allowed for pipe sized 6" or less. The LTHW Distribution Contractor shall be the prime contractor for this project. Utility Construction Documents show plans and profiles for underground distribution piping, including valve and fitting locations. Civil and landscaping Construction Documents show existing conditions surface restoration, traffic control & detour, site protection, layout irrigation, and planting plans. Approximately 200 feet of pipe installation consists of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). The Work of this Contract is divided into 5 Phases.
