The City of Davis is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call services for general professional or services or municipal engineering services to be performed in a prompt, professional and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the standards of the profession. All work, unless otherwise specified, shall be provided on a time and materials basis, and completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer or Public Works Director within the time periods allocated, as agreed to at the beginning of the assignment. Services may include general consulting; civil engineering; land surveying; Capital Improvement Program project design, construction support and management; computer or manual drafting; Graphical User Interface (GIS) implementation; private development application reviews, staff augmentation, construction inspection, architectural design services, assistance with feasibility studies, utility modeling, project management, and other tasks associated with Public Works infrastructure design, construction, and/or operation as assigned and directed by the City Engineer or one of the Public Works Directors. If deemed of sufficient importance to the fulfillment of the purposes of this RFP, addenda may be issued which must be acknowledged by each proposer, if any such addendum could affect a proposer's price.
