Iron Sponge Media Removal, Disposal, and Replacement Services at Wastewater Treatment Plant The general Scope of Services is for the removal and disposal of existing iron sponge media, and placement of CITY provided replacement iron sponge media in the MARCAB Gas Scrubber located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, at 3900 Holly Dr, Tracy, CA 95304. The successful Bidder shall furnish all permits, materials (excluding the iron sponge media), equipment, testing, and labor necessary to perform all tasks described in the Scope of Work and any applicable permitting requirements for proper disposal. Prevailing Wage Requirements. This Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements, available at City Engineer's office or online Bonds. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract Price, and a warranty bond for 10% of the maximum Contract Price. All responsive bid packages shall be reviewed and evaluated by the CITY to determine which Bidder best meets the CITY's needs for this Project by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the CITY shall evaluate bids are set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The CITY reserves the right to award the bid to a Bidder other than the lowest Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the CITY. The CITY also reserves the right to reduce the scope of work at any time and to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularities in any bid process.
