Landmark has been selected to deliver the Madison ES and the FC Joyce PK-8 School Kitchen Modernization Lease-Leaseback Projects for our valued customer, Twin Rivers Unified School District. The scope of Madison ES project includes modernization of existing kitchen area in existing Building C Kitchen, restrooms and related site improvements. The scope of the FC Joyce PK-8 School includes upgrades to the existing Building E Cafeteria, kitchen, restrooms and related site improvements. Please note, ONLY the Madison ES DSA Approved Set has been posted at this time; the Joyce PK-8 DSA Approved Set is anticipated 12/6 and will be posted upon receipt. Construction is anticipated to begin April/May 2025 with completion no later than July 31, 2025. Kitchen Equipment and HVAC subcontractors have already been selected as part of the Early Procurement Bid. Refer to the bid documents for the complete scope. These are two projects, which are bidding together, however, bidders may be awarded one, both, or neither projects. This project requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce under Education Code section 17407.5 and Public Contract Code section 2601. Labor Code Section 1725 requires all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects to annually register and pay a fee to the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Landmark encourages the participation of local and DVBE businesses. Landmark is willing to break down work items into economically feasible units to facilitate DVBE participation. The Renovation, Remodeling, and Painting Program requires EPA certification when working on "child (5 years or younger) occupied facilities" and constructed before 1978. In general, anyone who is paid to perform work that disturbs paint in housing and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 must be certified. This includes all firms, even sole proprietorships.
