The Shipping Charge Amount Will Depend on the Shipping Method Chosen. Instructions to Bidders. For All Further Requirements Regarding Bid Submittal, Qualifications, Procedures, and Contract Award, Refer to the Instructions to Bidders That Are Included in the Bidding Documents. Bids Are Requested for the Following Contract: Contract No. 2024-01 Center Drive Tank Improvements Owner Anticipates That the Project's Total Bid Price Will Be Approximately $1,300,000.00. The Project Has an Expected Duration of Ninety (90) Days. The Owner Hereby Reserves the Right, Which is Understood and Agreed to by All Bidders, to Refuse and Reject Any or All Bids Submitted, and Also Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality in Bids Received. Except as Otherwise Provided by Law, No Bidder May Withdraw Its Bid for Sixty (60) Days After the Bid Due Date, Unless the Contract Award is Delayed by a Required Approval of Another Government Agency, the Sale of Bonds, or the Award of a Grant or Grants, in Which Case the Bids Shall Remain Open to Acceptance and Shall Be Irrevocable for a Period of Sixty (60) After the Bid Due Date. Attention is Called to the Fact That Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as Determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry Must Be Paid by the Contractors on This Project and That Employees and Applicants for Employment Shall Not Be Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Age, Color, Religion, Sex, National Origin, or Handicap. Each Contractor is Required to Meet the Requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. Any and All Steel Products Used or Supplied in the Performance of the Contract or Any Subcontracts Shall Be From Steel Made in the United States. This Agreement is for Services Related to a Project That is Subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (Babaa) Requirements Under Title Ix of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ("iija"), Pub. L. 177-58. Absent an Approved Waiver, All Iron, Steel, Manufactured Products, and Construction Materials Used in This Project Must Be Produced in the United States, as Further Outlined by the Office of Management and Budget's Memorandum M-22-11, Initial Implementation Guidance on Application of Buy America Preference in Federal Financial Assistance Programs for Infrastructure, April 18, 2022. This Project Was Financed in Part by a Grant From the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Acting Through the Commonwealth Financing Authority. Signs Acknowledging the Commonwealth Financial Assistance or Administrative Participation Will Be Erected in the Project Area as Soon as Possible After the Effective Date of This Contract. Acknowledgement of Commonwealth Financial Assistance May Be Combined With Acknowledgement of Other Funding Sourced on Project Signs or in Project Publications.
