Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Thomasville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a two-story above grade multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Brief Scope: Demolition of one building. Rough Project Size: +- Two Story Building consisting of Eight units Sealed proposals will be received by the THOMASVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY for the DEMOLITION OF BURN BUILDING 301 JAMES AVE until 3:00 PM, TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2024, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the Demolition of Project NC 71-3. Scope of work will consist of demolition of existing project and includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to demolish and remove one (1) existing multifamily residential building, identified on the plans, complete. The building is a Two (2) Story Building consisting of a total of Eight (8) units. 2. Provide abatement of asbestos containing materials and 3 rd party clearance testing, if asbestos containing materials are present. 3. The demolition and removal of one (1) apartment buildings complete to include: all foundations, utilities are to be removed back to point indicated, all debris to be removed from site. 4. Provide new fill, top soil, seed, and straw. Grade areas where buildings, sanitary sewer, water supply piping, gas supply piping, sidewalks, etc. are being removed. 5. Provide utility demolition as required to make buildings safe for demolition. 6. Remove existing concrete walks at buildings being demolished back to point indicated. 7. Remove existing clothes lines, posts, and concrete pads at rear of buildings being demolished. 8. Remove and replace all horizontal vinyl siding, corner trim and J-channel at rear of Building D/12, #303 (Corner to Corner). 9. All other work as shown on plans, in the project manual and as required by code and the local authority having jurisdiction. 10. Contractor shall be responsible for removing and capping private utilities. 11. Contractor shall be responsible for locating and removing terminated gas lines. Piedmont Natural Gas to perform termination and capping of gas lines. Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating termination and capping of public utilities. 12. Contractor shall be responsible for locating and removing terminated water lines. City of Thomasville to perform termination and capping of water lines.
