W. Bockman Way Building Demolition The City of Sparta is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the demolition of a building located at 211 W. Bockman Way. The purpose of this project is to safely and efficiently demolish the specified structure, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and minimizing disruption to the surrounding area. Payment will not be made until the City Administrator inspects and approves work Demolition: Perform complete demolition of the building, including removal of all structural components, foundations, and utility disconnections as required. All Utilities have been turned off prior to proposal request. Debris Removal: Haul away and dispose of all demolition debris, including non-hazardous and hazardous materials, in compliance with waste management regulations. Provide weigh tickets for all materials required to be disposed in proper landfill. Safety and Compliance: All work will comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA standards for worker safety, and local building codes. City will waive all City issued permits. Pre-Demolition Planning Obtaining necessary permits and approvals. Conducting a pre-demolition site assessment. Preparing a demolition plan including timeline and safety measures. Traffic control will be the responsibility of contractor. Contractor will be liable for any damages to Bockman Way or Traffic. Demolition Activities Safe and controlled demolition of the building structure and foundation slab. Removal of all debris and waste materials from the site. Bockman Way sidewalk should be protected to best of their ability, City will repair if needed. Post-Demolition Activities Site cleanup from all debris.
