Site work for a transportation facility in Sparta, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Trackwork on the Caney Fork & Western Railroad. Work will consist of tie and rail installation, grade crossings, ballast, and surfacing. Bidders submitting bids equal to or greater than $25,000 in value are required to be licensed in accordance with state law. The Authority reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject all bids. It is understood that the Authority may increase, decrease or delete 25 percent of the work on the bid form. Any item may be increased, decreased or totally eliminated at the option of the Authority. The Authority may impose liquated damages in the amount of $300.00 per consecutive calendar day that the project is not completed. The Engineer shall have final decision as to the completion of the project. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions shall be submitted no less than seven days prior to the date for opening the bids.
