Site work and outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field in Webster Groves, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Ballfield lighting at Blackburn and Memorial Parks require regular and expensive maintenance to replace bulbs and ballast. Expensive lift rentals are also involved in these repairs and maintenance work. Replacing the lights with LED fixtures would reduce maintenance and the expense of ongoing light bulb replacement, save on utility bills and have a 10-year warranty. Rebates are built into the estimate and handled by the contractor. New LED lights will also be added to some pavilions. The project is included in the City's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of June 5, 2025, design is to take place October 2025-February 2026. Construction expected March 2026-July 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
