CAMPUS MASTER PLAN IMPLEMENTATION DEKALB COUNTY HISTORY CENTER SYCAMORE, ILLINOIS Project Location: 1730 N. Main Street, Sycamore, IL 60178. Submit bid security with each Bid in the stipulated form and in the amount identified in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to Bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. Submit requests for clarification and interpretation using method indicated in Instructions to Bidders. TIME OF COMPLETION A. By submitting a Bid, Bidder represents that Bidder will begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and will complete the Work within the Contract Time indicated in the Bidding Documents. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES A. Work is not subject to liquidated damages. Licenses: Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades. Insurance and Bonds: A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. PREVAILING WAGES: A. The Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall pay prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics engaged in the on-site work of this project. Dekalb County History Center is the recipient of a grant for this project from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). The Contractor shall comply with requirements of the DCEO BEP Utilization Plan, including but not limited to contracting and record-keeping. B. An overall Business Enterprise Program (BEP) Goal of 21% has been determined with 11% of grant dollars going to minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs or WMBEs) and 10% of grant dollars going to women-owned business enterprises (WBEs or WMBEs) or persons with disabilities-owned business enterprises (PBEs).
