Solicitation Id: NW-01 Route : USH 002E Limit : 36th Ave to Iron County Line County :Ashland County A Study of the Ush 2 Corridor in the Bad River Reservation is Needed to Mitigate the Impacts of Flooding and Overtopping the Ush 2 Bridge Over the Bad River. The Study Will Evaluate Approximately 0.67 Miles of Ush 2 From Old Odanah Road to Government Road for Feasible Alternatives. Produce a Report to Evaluate Alternatives to Make Ush 2 More Resilient to Flooding Including Preliminary Hydraulic Analysis, and Preliminary Engineering, and Cost Benefit Analysis. Alternatives to Investigate Include Increasing the Elevation of Us 2 and the Bridge and Providing Alternative Routes Across the Bad River When the Ush 2 Structure is Overtopped. Results of the Report May Be Used to Support Future Grant Applications for Design or Construction. Coordination With the Bad River Tribe Will Be Needed. This is Being Funded Under Protect Grant, Therefore, Guidelines Under Protect Must Be Followed.
