Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
University College of the North (UCN) is accepting proposals for the purchase, delivery and installation of a modular fully furnished dorm to be used for student housing. Scope of work includes: 1. Construction of above ground water and sewer boxes in preparation for the delivery and tie in of the units 2. Delivery of modular dorms to Flin Flon, MB by Feb 28, 2025 - installations/tie ins completed by March 15, 2025 3. Tie ins of water, sewer, power and propane 4. Construction of 8x8 treated platforms and stairs with handrails on all exterior doors 5. Eavestrough installed on modular buildings 6. 4-foot crawl space with 2 - 3 ft doors installed in skirting on both sides of dorms for access to the area 7. Distance required for the water and sewer lines to hook into the city lines is estimated at 125 meters for each 8.
