The City of Flin Flon (The City) is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the construction of a Camp Kitchen Building and an Accessible Cabin. This project is part of our efforts to rebuild lost structures after a fire demolished both and provide a safe, comfortable space for all visitors. The camp kitchen will be equipped for group food preparation and dining, and the accessible cabin will be designed to meet ACA standards to accommodate individuals with mobility impairments, these are non insulated structures functioning seasonally throughout summer months. Camp Kitchen Building Design and construct a durable, weather-resistant camp kitchen. Installation of necessary utilities, including plumbing, electrical, and gas lines (if applicable). Kitchen layout to include cooking stations, refrigeration, counter space, sinks, storage areas, dining areas. Exterior and interior finishes suitable for a high-traffic, outdoor environment. Compliance with local health and safety regulations, including food safety and accessibility standards. Accessible Cabin Design and build an accessible cabin that meets all ACA (Accessible Canada Act) requirements. Cabin should include features such as ramps, wider doors, and appropriate furnishings for individuals with mobility impairments. Installation of necessary utilities, including electrical Exterior and interior finishes that are both functional and durable. Second non-accessible cabin Repair to the exterior, including but not limited to siding repair, windows, soffits, and fascia. Interior repair from smoke and fire damage. Site Preparation and Landscaping Site clearing, grading, and foundation work for both the kitchen and cabin. Any landscaping requirements for both structures, including paths, and recreational areas.
