The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to maintain right of ways, mowing, edging, fertilize, weed control, noxious weeds, shrub trimming, leaf removal, climbing vines, management of irrigation system, winterize, start up in spring, tree maintenance, trash removal and general clean-up, plant replacement, insect and disease control as needed at Sawara at 740 Yesler Way, Seattle, WA 98104. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Number of Calendar Days to Complete Work: Two Years SHA requires a bid guarantee for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, except for small works roster construction projects estimated to cost $100,000 or less. Therefore, if (1) the Bidder is on the small works roster, and (2) the Bidders proposal is estimated to be $100,000 or less, bid bond is not required. A Contract Payment and Performance Bond, or retention of contract amount in lieu of bond, is required, unless it is waived by SHA in accordance with the State law (RCW 39.04.155).
