DeWitt Charter Township is inviting qualified contractors to complete the following form which will serve as a proposal for work needed to design and install a digital sign (draft as shown on the following ) for Fire Station 1, which is currently under construction at 16164 Business US 127. The base of the sign is already in place. PROPOSALS A. This document will become the proposal when it is filled out, signed and submitted by a potential contractor to the Township at the address listed above. The proposal will remain effective for 60 days. All proposals must be received sealed in an envelope with "Fire Station #1 Digital Sign" on the outside of the envelope by the deadline. B. Proposals must be signed by an official authorized to bind the contractor to the provisions of the proposal. C. The Township may consider any proposal on which there is an alteration of or departure from this format, as provided, and at its option may reject the same. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularity in proposals received whenever such rejection or waiver is in its best interest. D. The Township may choose to interview selected contractors prior to awarding a contract. E. The contract will be awarded to the Contractor who, in the Township's sole discretion, provides a proposal that is most responsive to meeting both the needs of the Project and the Township. F. The Contractor to whom the Award is made will be notified at the earliest possible date. G. Contract term will be until the specified work has been completed. The selected Contractor will be required to design and install a digital sign located at 16164 Business US 127, Lansing, Michigan 48906. DeWitt Charter Township is soliciting proposals for the design and installation of a digital sign at the new fire station which is under construction. The sign will mount to a block masonry base with a cast stone sill and face blocks on each side of the sign. See diagram. The sign to be a double-sided full color outdoor LED Sign, integrated inside of an aluminum sign cabinet with solar-grade polycarbonate vandal cover to protect from impacts, vandalism, and the sun. Double sided 5' x 8' sign cabinet with 12" deep extruded aluminum frame with a baseplate mount. The aluminum frame to be a bronze color. The active display area approximately 2'1" x 7'4" (15.4 square feet per side). The LED display to be approximately 10.66mm full color at 60 pixels high by 210 pixels wide (12,600 total pixels per side). Township logo digitally printed on a 3M vinyl and adhered to inside of sign face with internal illumination by LED lamps above the digital sign. One 20-amp circuit, 120 volts. Communication to the sign provided by a cellular modem. Cloud-based software to control the sign using any device with no monthly fees. The entire sign to be UL Listed and FCC Part 15 compliant.
