Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Monroe, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
3.23 mi of roadway reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter, guardrail work and pavement markings and bridge rehabilitation including deck replacement, superstructure repair, substructure patching, full paint and approach work on I-75 from Otter Creek to Laplaisance Road, Monroe County. This project includes three 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranties, a 2 year concrete surface coating performance warranty, a 5 year thin epoxy polymer overlay performance warranty, and a 2 year bridge coating performance warranty. 7% Dbe Participation Required Net classification required for this project is 94607 B or 94607 Ea In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of B and Ea. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.
