From Klamath Falls, Oregon: Head east for 15 miles east on State Highway 140 to Dairy, Oregon. Turn right onto State Highway 70 and drive 5 miles to Bonanza, Oregon. Travel through downtown and merge onto East Langell Valley Road. Drive 11 miles and turn left onto Gerber Road. Follow Gerber Road for 8.5 miles to the signed entrance to the Gerber Recreation Area. The Lakeview District, Oregon is seeking interested FWS MATOC holders for the construction at the Lakeview Recreation Repairs consisting of Gerber Recreation Area Water Line Replacement, North Camp Secondary Circuit Replacement, North Camp Vault Toilet Replacements, South Camp Vault Toilet Replacements and Barnes Valley Vault Toilet Replacement. This requirement is for one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract. The range of magnitude (ROM) is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a time sensitive requirement, therefore the request for proposal will be sent out soon and expect a quick turn around on the proposal. Base Bid: a. Gerber Rec Area waterline replacement. Work includes: Furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work specified within these specifications and as shown on the drawings. Existing waterlines for North, South and Horse camps will be replaced with HDPE pipe suitable for potable water. Work will also include replacement of frost-free hydrants, system valves, system drains, air/vacuum valves, installation of pressure reducing valves at each campground, and replacement of appurtenances to accomplish this work. New HDPE pipeline is proposed to follow the existing pipe alignment, and the existing pipeline is to be abandoned in place. Any deviations to the existing alignment must be approved by the C.O.R. prior to excavation. North Camp Secondary Circuit Replacement Work Includes: Furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work specified within these specifications and as shown on the drawings. Work includes the installation of a preplacement circuit for the vault toilet serving the north campground. The existing circuit has a compromised conduit allowing water to enter the conduit and fills the junction box with water. The entire circuit is to be replaced with new conductor and conduit. If possible eliminate the junction box. New circuit is to be place in the same trench as the new waterline. Existing circuit will be abandoned in place where practical. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
