Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gimli, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work is being done on the Hecla Road between Hecla Village and Gull Harbour Resort at the north end of Hecla Island Provincial Park, Manitoba. The work site location will be partially occupied during construction with road traffic. When the total bid amount is equal to or greater than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) inclusive of taxes, and separate and/or alternate prices if being utilized, the bonding as set out in Section GC14.1 of the Supplementary Conditions. Bonds shall be outlined and included on the form attached to the RFP2 as Schedule or on a form satisfactory to the Owner and shall be in favour of the Owner. A performance bond of fifty percent (50%) of the contract price for the Project containing the same terms and conditions as the specimen performance bond included as Schedule A of Appendix 4 (Bonding Requirements) of the Agreement. A labour and material payment bond of Fifty Percent (50%) of the cost of the Project containing the same terms and conditions as the specimen labour and material payment bond included as Schedule B of Appendix 4 (Bonding Requirements) of the Agreement.
