Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Repairs to roof of main building at Bucks Hill Elementary. Each Proposal with a total cost greater than $50,000.00 submitted shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security (a Certified Check or Bid Bond) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Proposal Price. The Proposer to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. In the City's sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. Question Deadline 01/17/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All questions and communications about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury at electronically. Full Adherence of 060 EPDM Roofing Membrane with Flashing and Termination Bar Installation. The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the proposal limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interest of the City will be served.
