Saving Project...

Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work includes the removal and disposal of the top four feet of material across the Site, backfill with certified clean material, and compaction prior to splash pad/playground construction. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, made payable to the City of Waterbury. Additionally, if the awarded contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, the successful bidder must provide a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. A one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Material Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City must also be provided. The proposals shall remain effective for ninety (90) days from Bid opening, Saturdays and Sundays, and legal holidays excluded. A deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 01/16/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents must be submitted to electronically. After review of the factors set forth in the Instructions to Bidders, the City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to make an award, or to decline to make an award.
