Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Missoula, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work site is located along Scott Street between Phillips Street to the south and Turner Street to the north. This project updates traffic operations and bike/pedestrian facilities by constructing a roundabout at the Scott Street and Phillips Street intersection, reallocating existing roadway space to include buffered bicycle lanes, and associated construction. The work generally includes asphalt removal and patching, new sidewalk, curbing and concrete surfacing, signing, pavement markings, and related work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is funded by the City of Missoula and is subject to all applicable state and local regulations, as indicated in the project manual. All work must be substantially complete within 45 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the notice to proceed. The notice to proceed is flexible, with the latest completion date of August 13, 2025. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond (uploaded via online ) payable to the City of Missoula, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish approved Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, along with required Insurance coverage. Actual prior experience performing the type of work in this project is an important factor for performance of this project. The Bidder is required to submit at the time of the bid with the bid proposal packet proof of experience performing work of a similar nature. Lack of experience in successfully completing projects of a similar size, with similar complexity may be construed as constituting a non-qualified bidder as determined by the City of Missoula. The contractor and any of the contractor s subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) except as listed in MCA 39-9-211. Successful contractors and vendors are further required to comply with City of Missoula Business Licensing requirements. The contractor performing work on the project shall not pay less than the latest Montana Labor Standard Provisions minimum wage.
