Sealed bids will be received by the Municipal Authority of Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the following: LABELLE VUE ROAD EXTENSION CONTRACT No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the time of the opening of the bids. The ENGINEER will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda, as the ENGINEER considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid on this project, and the CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color or national origin. BIDDER'S SURETY -- A certified check payable to the Municipal Authority of Allegheny Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. SUCCESSFUL BIDDING BIDDER awarded this contract shall provide a performance surety in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
