Renovation of a mixed-use development in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; and theater / auditorium.
Brick Masonry Repair & Full Mortar Joint Repointing 9630 SF; Sealing Brick & Mortar 17180 SF; Optional Lintel Replacement over Windows 7 EA. BID 2: Metal Window Replacement 15 EA. BID 3: Deteriorated Plaster Replacement 800 SF; Optional Plaster Replacement 1000 SF. All quantities approximate Bids must be accompanied by satisfactory bid security executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to "Vandergrift Borough." Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities eliminate work items or to reject any or all bids award reduced item quantities and reduced cost up to 25% limit the cost of work to the amount of funds available or award no contract at all. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the opening thereof. Contractor to comply with the provisions of applicable Pennsylvania statutes and regulations including but not limited to: Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment; Contractor Integrity and Responsibility; Americans with Disabilities; Right to Know; Prohibition of Illegal Alien Labor; Worker Safety; Public Works Employment and other applicable regulations. Contractor to provide Performance & Payment Bonds and a 2-year Maintenance Bond. This project is funded by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Commonwealth Finance Authority.
