Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of 04/07/2025, The project has been awarded to Bjoin Limestone Inc. for $456,814.90. The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the following listed Public Work: C2025-9 Fisher Creek Trail Phase 1 (TAP) - For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and executing all work in compliance with specific terms and conditions set forth by federal and state agencies providing grant assistance for this project, and doing all work necessary for the construction of a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) project, Fisher Creek Trail Phase 1 between West Court Street and Dartmouth Drive, including approximately 130 ID of grubbing; 2,050 CY of Common Excavation; 1,400 CY of Borrow; 4,000 TONS of aggregate base; 700 TONS of asphalt paving; 16 LF of Concrete Culvert Pipe; 290 LF of Curb and Gutter; 2,100 SF of Concrete Sidewalk; 5,500 SY of Restoration; 106 SF of Signs; 750 LF of epoxy pavement markings; 435 LF of Sawing and miscellaneous construction items. The bidder shall have an Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity policy set forth, in part, goals and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area and shall reference FHWA form 1273 under section II.1.b. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal is discretionary for this project. This public works project is funded in part by Federal funding through the Transportation Alternatives Program administered by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). The WisDOT project ID is 5990-03-15. Federal Wage rates are required for this project and are included in project documents. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer, subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
