Madison County, AL is seeking bids for rehabilitation work at Sharon Johnston Park Pool in District 1 of Madison County, located at 783 Coleman Rd, New Market, AL 35761. No Pre-Bid Meeting will be held and any technical questions regarding the bid shall be directed to Ryan Yates at ryates@madisoncountyal.gov Work includes replastering, removing and reinstalling pool railing, replacing tile, proving waterline vinyl stick-on depth markers, replacing pool lights, and pool bonding/grounding. The Contractor is responsible to complete the work according to the conditions, specifications, and plans in the bid package A Bid Bond shall be submitted with the bid, and a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and evidence of insurance will be required after award of the contract. The period of performance is 20 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, and all work must be completed prior to April 1, 2025, to ensure sufficient time for reopening of the pool. The deadline for questions is January 26, 2024, at 1:30 PM CST.
