The County of Sacramento Department of Regional Parks (County) is seeking a contractor to provide bark blowing services to various locations throughout the County. The resulting contract will be for one (1) year, with the possibility of four 1-year extensions. The Department of Regional Parks enhances the health, enjoyment and quality of life in the region by acquiring, managing, and protecting park and open space lands; educating the public on the uses and values of leisure time activities, and the cultural and natural history of the County; growing and linking a system of regional parks, trails and open space in Sacramento and neighboring counties; providing a broad range of recreational activities for the community's diverse populations; and providing stewardship and protection of Sacramento County's regional park system through partnerships, planning and community involvement. The following locations are the primary locations for this contract; however, the County reserves the right to add other locations during the term of the resulting contract. Hood Community Park 997 Hood Franklin Rd. Hood Ca 95639 1 playground covering 2,645 square feet. Herald Park Herald, CA. 95638 1 playground covering 3,240 square feet. Dr. Paul Barns Park 14186 Grove St. Walnut Grove, Ca 95690 1 playground covering 2,227 square feet. Jean Harvie Community Center 14273 River Rd. Walnut Grove, CA. 1 playground covering 1,540 square feet. Question Deadline 01/13/2025 at 5:00 PM PT RIGHT TO AUDIT: The County of Sacramento reserves the right to verify, by examination of vendor/contractor's records, all invoiced amounts when firm prices are not set forth in the purchase agreement. The County of Sacramento reserves the right to: award responses received on the basis of individual items, or groups of items, or on the entire list of items; reject any or all responses, or any part thereof; waive any informality in the responses; and accept the response that is in the best interest of the County. The Department's decision shall be final.
