The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractor. I only added 2 quailified conractors. The Project includes construction of a 10,148 SF one-story fire station with three (3) apparatus bays and eight (8) dormitories, a storage/truck wash building, emergency standby generator, civil and utility sitework, and other related items, developed on a 4.77-acre site. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (hereinafter Metro Fire or District) has determined that all bidders on the Fire Station 67 Construction public works project (Project) to be undertaken by the District must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a bid for the Project. It is mandatory that all Contractors who desire to submit a bid for the Project fully complete the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the District to be on the final Qualified Bidders List. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements. If two or more entities desire or expect to submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, each entity within the Joint Venture must be separately qualified to bid through this RFQ process. The bid solicitation process for the project is anticipated for Summer 2025. Construction is anticipated to begin in Fall 2025 and last for 14 months.
