The work of this contract includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for installation of 6 ft high galvanized steel chain link fencing and 6 ft high, 24 ft wide galvanized steel double swing gates that meet or exceed current commercial fencing industry standards, on city-owned property throughout the City of West Sacramento. Bidder shall provide new installation, repairs and maintenance work to new and existing fences, posts and gates on City properties on an as-needed basis. All work required under the scope of this contract shall be performed on City properties. Fencing materials shall be measured by the linear foot. The removal of any existing fence shall be included in the cost. The installation of fence shall be included in the cost. Contractor is responsible for locating the underground utilities and not disturbing them during the course of their work It is required that all installation of fences, gates, posts, and other product used must adhere to current commercial fencing industry standards. The Bidder is required to be a certified licensed fence contractor as it is enforced by California Law.
