General Information: The Town of Palm Beach (TOWN) is seeking qualifications from professional coastal engineering consultant(s) to provide consulting services for the Town of Palm Beach on an as-needed basis. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is for the Town to potentially select one or more firms capable of providing the specified Coastal Engineering Consultant Services. Services shall include, but are not limited to, developing coastal protection alternatives, conducting feasibility studies, strategic coastal planning, engineering and permitting, construction management, physical monitoring, providing advisory information, and acting as expert witnesses for the Town. Any questions received after this deadline may be ignored.. Location : online portal. Addenda Deadline (answering RFIs) Town is imposing a deadline to itself for issuing last addenda, which may be for answering request for information questions. Please refer to the attached scope of work for detailed requirements. Firms awarded this Request For Qualifications for Coastal Engineering Services are prohibited from performing similar services for other entities or individuals within the Town of Palm Beach. No proposer may withdraw their proposals for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date set for the opening thereof. Award shall be made to the Proposer(s) which offers the best value to the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive non-material irregularities or technicalities and to re-advertise for all or any part of this solicitation as deemed in its best interest. The Town shall be the sole judge of its best interest. Contract duration: The contract term will be three years with one additional options of two years, for a total of a five-year contract.
