2025 Streambanks Stabilization Projects All work shall be done under the general observance of the Engineer. The Engineer shall decide any and all questions, which may arise as to the quality and acceptability of materials, work performed, rate of progress of work, interpretation of drawings and specifications, and all questions as to the acceptable fulfillment of the Contract on the part of the Contractor. All equipment, materials and workmanship must be in accordance with the Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction of the Kansas Department of Transportation, 2015 Edition and all supplemental Specifications and Special Provisions included therein. (NOTE: The 2015 Kansas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction will not be provided as part of this contract.) Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contract as surety in the State of Kansas and made payable to the Pottawatomie County Treasurer. The Bidder, to whom a Contract is awarded, will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Statutory Bonds, each in the amount of the total contract price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
