Site work and paving for a road / highway in Westmoreland, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:2025 CHIP SEAL PROJECT The project will include but not limited to the following major categories of work:Chip Seal Surfacing Various Locations (17 Miles, 255,600Square Yards)Fog Seal Various Locations (2.7 Miles, 37,300Square Yards) TIME LIMIT: All work shall be completed between June 1 and September 15, 2025 Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contract as surety in the State of Kansas and made payable to the Pottawatomie County Treasurer.The Bidder, to whom a Contract is awarded, will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Statutory Bonds, each in the amount of the total contract price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity therein to determine the best responsible bid most suitable to the Owner and to approve the bonds. All persons awarded and/or entering into contracts with Pottawatomie County shall be subject to and required to comply with all applicable County, State, and Federal provisions pertaining to nondiscrimination, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action on public contracts
