The City of Delta is soliciting proposals from engineering consulting companies with relevant knowledge and experience to design a gravity irrigation intake from Fraser River near 96 Street and River Road. The scope of work also includes preparing a long-term strategy to improve the supply of irrigation water from the Fraser River to Deltas irrigation system in order to enhance agricultural productivity. This project is partially funded by the BC Ministry of Agriculture through the Investment Agriculture Foundations Food Security Emergency Planning & Preparedness (FSPP) Fund.
