The CONTRACTORs primary responsibility is to upgrade and modernize the controls equipment of the existing five (5) elevators at the Civic Center BUILDINGS. This is a Turnkey project. In addition, the elevator CONTRACTOR will also be responsible for the hiring of a licensed third-party Fire Life Safety contractor to supply and install new equipment for all Fire Safety required code improvements associated with the elevator controls modernization. Elevator Contractors shall account for the subcontracting, coordination, hoistway access, and testing time for other trades as part of their modernization bid. Bids are received up to the hour of 2:00pm, Tuesday the 18th day of February, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened. Bids shall be written clearly and legibly in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside "SEALED BID FOR CIVIC CENTER BUILDINGS ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL."
