TAXIWAY A RECONSTRUCTION & AIRFIELD IMPROVEMENTS PACKAGE 2 RE-BID The Work includes removal of existing full-strength and shoul- der pavements associated with utility replacement, removal of taxiway edge lights, centerline lights and signage, removal of underground electrical and drain- age, marking obliteration; con- struction of approximately 33,000 SY of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) taxiway pavement, new shoulder pavement associated with utility replacement, instal- lation of aggregate base, underd- rain and drainage improvements, grading, topsoiling, seeding, new airfield signage and infrastruc- ture, new taxiway edge and cen terline lights. A contract according to the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Addendums (if applicable) shall be signed prior to work commenc ing Each bid must be accom-panied by a cashier's check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A perfor-mance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable State Law. The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any infor-mality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions.
