Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; 10,000-space sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000372788 Delivery Point: United States, Colorado, Denver County Purchase Type: Duration: 18 months from NTP This request is for a Competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) between a qualified consultant and Denver International Airport (DEN) to provide engineering services required for the design and execution of the Longs Peak Repurposing project. Professional services to be provided by the consultant will include all necessary services for preliminary and final design, surveying, testing, and construction administration for the design and construction of said project. Scopes of work a consultant can provide professional services for are: structural overlay of the existing asphalt with concrete (i.e. white topping), new at-grade surface parking lot with approximately 1,000 parking spaces, including accessibility in accordance with current standards, EV charging, perimeter curb and gutter on new surface lot, snow storage, water quality facility and treatment, shuttle bus corral, chain link fence, storm drainage, roadway improvements, lighting and electrical, traffic signal upgrades, security building with turnstiles and office space, signing and striping. The Longs Peak Repurposing project has been identified as a space to move the Airside Employee Parking Lot. This will enable the construction of a consolidated rental car facility at DEN. Longs Peak repurposing project was selected to be the Airside Employee Parking Lot due to its close proximities to the Concourses. To keep the employee bussing time to a minimum, the existing Longs Peak Shuttle Lot, west of the current Airside Employee Parking Lot on 78th Avenue, will relocate to a new site (South WorldPort Lot). The Airside Employee Parking Lot will then move to the former Longs Peak Shuttle Lot site. This project will include a small expansion to accommodate the number of Airside Employees. Repurposing the Longs Peak Shuttle Lot keeps the Airside Employee routes similar to the existing with minimal increase to route timing. Question Deadline 01/30/2025 at 2:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes, DEN will not answer any telephone inquiries about this RFP. Written questions are due by the deadline for questions listed in the Schedule of Activities above and shall be submitted electronically via the online.
