The project consists of work to be performed within 60 working days from Notice to Proceed and consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental theretofore and as generally described as follows: Construction of the West Poulsbo Stormwater Retrofit which shall consist, of, but not. be limited to: 1. Mobilization and cleanup at separate locations shown on plans. 2. Clearing and grubbing. 3. Temporary traffic control at locations shown on plans. 4. Removal of structures and obstructions. 5. Installation of 1 CDS Pretreatment Unit 6. Installation of 2 bioretention cells. 7. Installation of I Filterra Bioscape 8. Installation of catch basins. 9. Installation of conveyance storm piping. 10. Installation of perforated underdrain pipes. 11. Installation of minor curb, gutter, and stormwater system modifications. 12. Surface restoration including both pavement, trail, and landscape areas. 13. Bioretention and other plantings. 14. Other miscellaneous work as shown on the plans to complete the project. All work will be located within the City right-of-way or on. City property. The project consists of water quality installations in the West Poulsbo basin. The City anticipates a flexible start date to be mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and City. Work shall commence no later than May 31st 2025. It is anticipated that this project will be funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Neither State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids. The Engineer's construction estimate for this project is in the range of $800,000 "to $950,000 including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid deposit/bond shall be forfeited to the City of Poulsbo. The award of the Contract will go to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. The City reserves the right to reject, any and all bids or waive any informality in the bidding and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
