The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Parking Lot Sweeping Services Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP), the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, provide a mobile or heavy duty vehicle with dustless power vacuum attachment, capable of removing all debris and leaves from the paved parking area and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide bi-weekly Parking Lot Sweeping Services at the CHP Walnut Creek Platform Scales, Northbound and Southbound in accordance with the terms set forth in this Agreement. The services shall be performed at: Walnut Creek Platform Scales Northbound Northbound Interstate 680, North of Route 24 Walnut Creek, CA 94596 ; Walnut Creek Platform Scales Southbound Southbound Interstate 680 Walnut Creek, CA 94596 All work shall be performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless other arrangements are approved by the CHP on-site contact. Contractor shall schedule the date and time the service is to be performed with the CHP on-site contact one (1) week prior to service. Contractor shall sign-in and sign-out with the CHP on-site contact on each service call to provide verification the service has been provided. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028. The agreement term may change if CHP makes an award earlier than expected or if CHP cannot execute the agreement in a timely manner due to unforeseen delays. CHP reserves the right to extend the term of the resulting agreement as necessary to complete or continue the services. Agreement extensions are subject to satisfactory performance, funding availability, and possibly approval by Department of General Services (DGS). Question Deadline 02/06/2025 at 10:00 AM PT Bidders shall immediately notify CHP if clarification is needed regarding the services sought or questions arise about the IFB and/or its accompanying materials, instructions, or requirements. Bidders shall submit questions via email to Ms. Tessa Gomez at tegomez@chp.ca.gov. Following the question submission deadline, the CHP will post a summary response of the questions and answers to be viewed electronically. CHP will not publicly open or read late bids. Bidders may email Tessa Gomez, Contract Analyst at tegomez@chp.ca.gov to request bid results.
