Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,400-square-foot medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a 760-square-foot medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Prequalified Subcontractors (hereinafter "Subcontractors") are invited to provide bids awarded on the basis of Lowest Responsible Lump Sum Bid for a Subcontract for the following work: THORNTON MRI EXPANSION AND RENOVATION - Bid Package #2 - The current bid package includes demolition/Earthwork, deep foundations, concrete, steel, roofing/sheet metal/expansion joints, and glazing. 2A Site, Select Demolition & Earthwork - Est. Construction Cost: $197,565 2B Deep Foundations - Est. Construction Cost: $204,440 2C Concrete - Est. Construction Cost: $493,450 2D Structural Steel & Misc. Metals - Est. Construction Cost: $726,291 2E Roofing, Sheetmetal & Expansion Joints - Est. Construction Cost: $197,200 2F Glazing - Est. Construction Cost: $247,310 The Thornton MRI Expansion and Renovation project consists of an exterior addition of 3,400 SF with two new MRI suites and renovation of 760 SF within the existing MRI suite. The University has bid and awarded a CM at Risk Contract to Layton Construction Company (hereafter "CM/Contractor"). CM/Contractor is responsible for bidding and awarding all subsequent subcontractor packages, including this package. Please note this project does have prevailing wage requirements please include within budgets accordingly. Reference Exhibit within the projects file folder for more information.
