Construction is anticipated to begin in August 2025. ___________________________________________________________________________ SCOPE OF WORK: The STRIDE Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Bus Base North (BBN) facility will be located at 21531 20th Avenue SE, Bothell, WA 98021 (Administration Building). This BBN will be used to maintain, service, wash, fuel, and store up to 120 articulated and double-decker buses. The BRT BBN project will include development of approximately 12.5 Acres, and right-of-way improvements. The work includes building: • An ~35,000 square foot (sf) two level administration and operations building that will serve as the primary structure. • A bus entrance/exit onto 20th Avenue SE, at the southern end of the site, will include an approximately 140-sf security guard booth to monitor site access and control bus ingress and egress. • A bus storage/parking structure which will be located directly behind the administration and operations building and have space for 120 buses on the first floor and 250 parking spaces on the second level. This structure will also include the bus wash facility, bus fueling facility, and support systems building. The footprint of the bus storage structure will be approximately 108,000 sf, while the footprint of the whole structure, including the bus wash and bus fueling facilities will be approximately 141,000 sf. Roughly 250,000sf of parking and building structure total (both levels). • A 5,600 sf bus wash facility will provide a fully enclosed, two-bay, drive-through bus wash operation and is connected to the east side of the bus storage/parking structure at ground level • A ~89,000 sf maintenance building with a training/ propulsion bay, an electronics repair bay, eight running repair bays, a chassis wash bay, a tire bay, three inspection bays, two non-revenue repair bays, and space for maintenance equipment and storage. • Other improvements will include a new public sidewalk along the site’s frontage of 20th Avenue SE and through-block connections surrounding the site perimeter.
